PICCK seeks to help achieve equity in contraception access and pregnancy outcomes in Massachusetts by reducing unintended pregnancies and their increased risks to both patients and newborns. The program also aims to improve the quality of contraceptive care for all people, while addressing the needs of vulnerable Massachusetts residents. Additionally, the PICCK data collected will be shared throughout the Commonwealth and the country to inform continued efforts to improve health equity for all parents and infants.
All individual health care providers, staff members, and administrators are invited to engage with our toolkits, resources, webinars, and annual conference without cost. Hospital-based practices that receive an on-site, customized PICCK intervention also receive these trainings without cost, though with the expectation that you will be able to devote staff time to the project for implementation, training, and evaluation. Implementation of PICCK’s interventions in each hospital are expected to last approximately six months, but the amount of time can vary depending on the hospital’s need and availability.
You can obtain CME credit for participating in our webinars and Annual Meeting. Instructions on how to claim a certificate of credit for webinar participation will be shown to all participants who successfully complete this activity and evaluation. At the Annual Meeting there will be information in order for you to claim your CME credits for your attendance and participation.
